Australian Movie Recomendations

I’m Canadian (and yeah, still here), in my mid-50s. When I was a kid, CBC used to run some pretty rare movies late at night, and a bunch of the really great ones were Australian.
Like stuff such as *Careful, He Might Hear You*, *Proof*, *For the Term of His Natural Life*, *Malcolm*, and a whole bunch more. A lot of those were basically the only times I ever got to see them.
So I’m wondering—what other Australian movies should I try to track down that maybe aren’t as well known outside the country but are still pretty essential? Like, what would most Aussies already know? And TV shows too, if anyone’s got picks.
Also, slightly off-topic: for *Deadloch*, does anyone here know where you can get a copy of that notorious “Cunt Memo”?
What are the most unique works of literature from Australia?

Honestly, I don’t know how to feel about The Magic Pudding. It was kind of fun, but I’m still unsure.

“My Brilliant Career” follows Sybylla, this stubborn young girl in Australia in the early 1900s, and it kind of feels like her whole thing is refusing to just settle down. She turns down a rich guy who wants to marry her because she wants to stay independent, but then she ends up working as a governess for a family her dad owes money to, which is… not exactly the easy way out. It also comes off as one of those early romance novels from a pretty well-known Australian writer, and I’m not totally sure how much I’m into it yet, but I can’t deny it has its pull.
