Book Club recommendations for summer?

I’m trying to pick a few good book club reads for summer. I’d love a mix of classic and more modern stuff, and I think 200–300 pages is about right. This is a virtual summer book club and it’s our first activity, so I’m just trying to get a solid set going. We’ve got a mix of people—some are really into classic literature, others prefer fiction, and a few also want to read memoirs. Not totally sure what will work best together, but I’m hoping to find something that fits most of that.
