I used to think Fritz Lieber was not just a really good writer but also someone who sometimes acted, so I’d keep an eye out for him in movies. Turns out there’s an actor named Fritz Lieber, and he’s been in a bunch of films, but it’s his father with the same name. A lot of film lists (even IMDb) seem to mix them up. That said, I did find at least one movie where Fritz Lieber Jr. is in it: *Camille* (1936). He’s got a small role as Valentin—he’s second from the left in the photo. Anyway, I totally get your enthusiasm for his books. I really like *The Big Time* and *The Wanderer*, and I’ve got several short story collections too. I’m about to start the *Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser* series.
