Has anyone read The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd?

I started this book and then, somehow, I ended up online looking up a few names. Before I even realized it, I clicked an article that basically dumped the killer info right out in the open. No warning, nothing. It kind of ruined the whole “what’s going to happen” feeling, and now I just can’t really bring myself to read it. Has anyone figured out a way to salvage it so it’s still exciting enough to get back into?
