Suggest me a Penguin Classic that’s easy to read for a 15 year old

Can anyone recommend a Penguin Classic that’s good for a beginner? I’m 15 and I want to start getting into classics, but a lot of them seem kind of old-fashioned or just hard to follow. I’m looking for something that’s easier to read but still interesting and not dull. I’m open to pretty much any genre, I just want a solid first classic to start with.
