Books from authors of 17th to early 19th century

I really enjoy classics, but lately I’ve been wanting to branch out into books that are more underrated… as long as they fit what the title says. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I should read next? For context (not sure if it helps lol), I’m about halfway through *Mayor of Casterbridge* by Thomas Hardy and I’m enjoying it.
