Any one else find reading really difficult?

For me it’s kind of like mental exercise, but I just can’t keep it up for very long. I’ll start a story and then my attention starts wandering pretty fast. I can scroll and read stuff online for hours, no problem, but if I try to stick with an actual book, after maybe an hour I’m hit with this heavy mental tiredness. I even did the math—at my pace, it takes me around three months to get through a 500-page book, which works out to roughly four novels a year. I’m 27, and if I make it to 80, that puts me at something like 160 books total for the rest of my life. That’s… honestly pretty depressing. I keep thinking other people must blow through that kind of number way faster. Anyone else out there who reads really slowly?
