Such is life. [Poem] - Norman Wisdom
By fig_market4
That’s just how life goes, I guess, and really, it’s not all that much. You start in a cradle. End up in a hearse. Maybe it could’ve been nicer, but then again, it could’ve been worse.

I just wrapped up *Such is Life* by Joseph Furphy, and now I’m kinda trying to find something that hits a similar vibe. I really like reading about a person running into new people, getting a bunch of different experiences, and watching those interactions end up changing them (or at least shaping them). I’m thinking something like *Cowboy Bebop* works for me in anime form—so if there’s a book with that same kind of feel, that’d be awesome. Sci-fi would be a bonus, but I don’t really need it. Fiction isn’t a must either. I know this is a pretty vague way to describe it, but I’m not totally sure how else to put it—hopefully that makes sense.
