Do you wait for a certain time of year to read books with a seasonal setting?

One of my favorite winter reads is *The Bear and the Nightingale* by Katherine Arden. I really like the whole Russian folk tale/myth vibe, and it’s definitely stuck in this super freezing kind of setting. I was chatting with a friend and they said they can’t stand reading books with a cold winter vibe once it’s below freezing where they live—they just want something set in the tropics in winter so they can pretend they’re not dealing with gloomy days and dirty snow. Do you ever think about that, or do you just grab whatever sounds good no matter the weather?
