Just finished Germinal by Emile Zola.

Just wrapped up this massive book... Thoughts: - Really enjoyed the characters. They had a lot going on and the arcs were strong. - I was into the class struggle / anti-bourgeoisie angle, but I feel like the flood sabotage and survival parts maybe didn’t need to be there. Has anyone else read it? What did you make of it? And what are you reading while stuck inside?
